Our HighQ project, funded by CHDI foundation, is focusing on Huntington’s disease, a neurodegenerative disorder that impairs cognitive capacity and causes motor deficits along with involuntary movements. In this project, we combine high throughput screens of chemical compounds with Quantitative Multiparametric Image Analysis (QMPIA) to understand how endocytosis is perturbed in Huntington’s disease. Our aim is to test the predictive power of a Systems Biology pipeline for drug discovery and validation.
